Their game is not played in designer shorts. It is not played at fashionable clubs, or at fashionable hours. They play when they can get the ice time. At the crack of dawn. In the dead of night. They happily huff and puff in their sleek and empty arenas.

This video is for all those young athletes who are chasing their dreams and working really hard to succeed and, this video is also for those people who have lost hope in themselves and are on the verge to quit on whatever they have been working on for so long.

In the end, it’s extra effort that separates a winner from second place. But winning takes a lot more that, too. It starts with complete command of the fundamentals. Then it takes desire, determination, discipline, and self-sacrifice. And finally, it takes a great deal of love, fairness and respect for your fellow man. ‘Legs On Fire’ | Off-Ice Workout

Off ice training is perhaps more important than the skating you do on the ice if you want to be a more explosive player. So when you’re not playing No Bozos or tempted to jump on your phone for another round of snapchats, do this instead!

When you want to rest, don’t rest yet. Try to get at least one more in. When you want to quit, don’t quit yet. Try to hold it just a bit longer.
